AFF SUZUKI CUP 2020
The AFF Suzuki Cup is an international football championship tournament hosted by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). This biennial international competition, viewed by many as the world cup of Southeast Asia, receives widespread following from fans across the region.
Not only will Casio support the AFF Suzuki Cup as the official timekeeper with its G-SHOCK brand of shock-resistant watches; the Casio logo will also appear on official tournament products and Casio commercials will be shown on stadium jumbotrons.
Point-of-purchase advertising campaigns and events will be also carried out in various ASEAN countries, helping to build anticipation for the championship throughout the region.
ABOUT AFF SUZUKI CUP
The AFF Suzuki Cup is an international football championship tournament hosted by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). The 2020 championship will be held from 11 April to 8 May next year, and 11 AFF-member teams will play home and away matches in order to determine the number-one team among the ASEAN countries. Including the qualifying, group, semi-final and final stages, there will be a total of 28 matches. The competition is held once every two years; the 2018 championship drew around 750,000 spectators. It was a major happening in the ASEAN region, where the popularity of football has grown significantly.
