Mobile Link Functions and Main Settings

• Alert Notification

  When a phone call or mail message^*1 comes in, or when you get a Twitter, Facebook or Weibo^*2 notification, your G-SHOCK sounds a tone and/or vibrates to let you know.

  *1 Note that an iPhone requires registration of a mail account with this app. This function does not support SMS or text messaging.

  *2 Twitter, Facebook and Weibo alert is not supported by iOS 5.1.1.

  Calendar event notification

  When event notification for a particular iPhone calendar event is enabled, the watch will beep and/or vibrate at the date and time of the event.

• Phone Finder

  Press a button on the G-SHOCK and your iPhone sounds a tone^* that lets you instantly know where it is.

  * Either an app tone or iPhone music. The iPhone will sound a Phone Finder tone even if it is in Silent Mode or Manner Mode.

  Link Loss Alert

  The G-SHOCK will vibrate whenever the distance between it and your iPhone becomes so great that the wireless link between them is lost.

• Time Adjustment

  This function adjusts the time settings of the G-SHOCK so they match those of the iPhone to which it is linked. This takes all of the work out of watch time settings.
  Auto Time Adjustment also makes it possible to adjust to time zone changes and summer time automatically.
