Went out skating the other day in old school decks. Can't really pull much tricks out of the board these days but never the less it was fun, just like the 80s.

Old school boards.

The oillie test 1 - Mark (SBTG) oilliing the shit out of his mini cruiser with no concave.

The oillie test 2 - Kelvin (Leftfoot) doing his flips on his cruiser.

The oillie test 3 - William oilling on a really heavy 80s board.

We went down to Lisa's Ooi Botos Gallery in Wanchai for José Parlá exhibition opening party. José's work are both beautiful and hypnotic, layered with intricate scripts and heavy textures. If you are in town, stop by to check it out. The exhibition ends on 11 July 09.

The bright red architectural facade of Ooi Botos Gallery at Gresson Street really stands out in the middle of a busy street market.

Lisa Botos, José Parlá, Jackson, Taka Nakanishi and Alvin.
